As many of you know, I’ve been a supporter of the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation for many years. Sasha and I have been fortunate to support the Takes Steps Walk for Crohn’s and Colitis which takes place this June in Santa Monica. We became involved with this foundation’s important work when our son, Conrad, was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease over 14 years ago. It’s a fun morning walk by the beach for a great cause.
This year has special significance as my son will be graduating from college (with honors!) 2 weeks prior to the walk. Moreover, June 3rd will mark my final official day at FilmTrack after nearly a quarter century 😊. I’d welcome this opportunity to reconnect with friends and colleagues at a low impact event on the California coast.
Once again, I’m asking each of you to give whatever you can for research and care of IBD patients. Given the statistics, it’s likely that you – or someone you know – is acutely impacted by Crohn’s or Colitis. With Take Steps, you can donate, you can walk with us on the FilmTrack Team on June 2nd – or you could do both! Walk day is a lot of fun.
The Crohn's & Colitis Foundation is a non-profit, volunteer-fueled organization dedicated to finding the cures for Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, and to improving the quality of life of children and adults affected by these diseases.
