I sincerely appreciate the opportunity to join a roundtable with Minister Jan Lipavsky, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, and representatives of Czech innovative companies to discuss the role of the state in cultivating the environment that supports the creation and incubation of new technologies into high-tech products with worldwide markets. One of the key challenges faced by a deep-tech startup is finding the right balance between research, product development, and business growth. In an academic setting, the timeline from fundamental research to practical application often spans years, if not decades. However, in a startup environment, the window is much narrower: new research is integrated into the product within just 3-6 months. This accelerated pace highlights the impressive achievements of our research team at Filuta AI, who, despite such demanding timelines, consistently deliver state-of-the-art results, and their efforts have not only advanced our product but have also been recognized at top-tier conferences such as Knowledge Representation 2024 (kr.org/KR2024/), where our team’s work on learning techniques for Symbolic AI models has been honored among the best papers, great work team, Tomas Balyo, Martin Suda, Lukas Chrpa, Dominik Šafránek, PhD, Stephan Gocht, Roman Barták, G.
