  • Happy New Year! We were thrilled to sit in with these amazing partners on a Fort Mesa MSP recap of some 2024 topics. Thanks for having us Matthew Fisch, CISSP ! I really appreciate the insights from James Markley, Alberto Ramos-Izquierdo, Raffi Jamgotchian - Cybersecurity for Investment Firms and Matthew Fisch, CISSP. As MSP organizations, we need to continue to develop and evolve as our vendors and customers continue to push for easy to deploy security which does not hinder their employees. https://lnkd.in/eqNRhFsM

We’re excited to announce the final MSP Cyber Roundtable of 2024! To close out the year, we’ve brought together our amazing partners- Robert Carselle of First Tracks Technology, James Markley of Virtumarc, Alberto Ramos-Izquierdo of RIZQ, and Raffi Jamgotchian - Cybersecurity for Investment Firms of Triada Networks to reflect on the year’s transformative shifts: EDR with elevated services, the ripple effects of tech giants reshaping the market, and the evolution of channel flow from solution searching to solution screening. Don't miss this exciting wrap-up of 2024 🙌

  • Turkey Day? Thanksgiving? it is already here. This is a great week to slow down (in business and life) and catch up on some of the "busy" of the year. Our team has been tireless this year, and we are so thankful for that. Our clients, customers and partners give us much to be thankful about. Thank you to each of you for a great 2024 and an exciting turn into next year. We want to thank all of you that help drive our business, helped us to realize IT accomplishments and helped grow our culture and team. We thank you, for making us better, and frankly for sharing what makes you great with us, so we can strive to be great and learn from each of you. The attached picture is at a popular ski resort in the US. Our company name is inspired by skiing and the idea of making the first tracks in fresh snow. We love the idea of not always needing to follow in someone else's "tracks". The attach picture is a beautiful view, and there is a sign there providing options on which way to go. Some skiers may also notice it is a long way down and steep. We encourage you to also notice the view and enjoy the choice to enjoy the sights while picking your path. From our team to yours, Happy Thanksgiving Week!

  • Josh and I with a little weekend OPS work. ;) https://lnkd.in/euVi_jfE We may have our next collaboration day outside .....

This past weekend Josh Patton and I (along with Kaylee and Sara entered an adventure race here in Central Ohio). No, this wasn't a huge event and our chances of not surviving were zip. BUT ... the point was that we as owners of a business make it a point to schedule a few new things along the way each year, and the sense of accomplishment of having something in your calendar and knocking it out is pretty cool. Just sharing .... and now for my next little challenge between now and the EOY. Huge thanks to the Mothman Adventure Race organizers, and huge kudos to our team, it was so much fun. Have a great week!!!!

  • Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day weekend, I wanted to share a note that I sent to our great First Tracks team this morning .... yes it is a little sappy, but sorry here goes: This coming weekend is usually a turning point where many of our thoughts fully shift to Spring and Summer and away from the cooler seasons. We also celebrate a truly unique holiday where we honor Mom’s, and it is seems appropriate to celebrate. So have a great weekend, and enjoy your time as exactly you would like to, and if you are so inclined give that “Mom” in you life a little extra longer hug if you can. We have spouses, and Moms, and Grandma’s and friends, and sisters, and so on …. All in some kind of Mom role, and this weekend it is nice to just say “thanks for having my back”, and for being the first example of a leader in a person’s life. It is crazy to think about it, but one of the first examples of leadership that a newborn sees and feels is their mother. It is also incredible to think about that those first moments are not about writing down goals, or doing something better, but simply a chance to show love and empathy. That’s right, I am drawing a connection to leadership as an example set by Mom’s all over. Chances are the first expression of leadership many of us feel is a hug of acceptance and love by the first leader we will learn from … what if all forms of leadership kept that in mind? I know, kinda sappy, sorry. I just want to say thank you to each of your Mom’s because of them, our paths have crossed and made us into this wonderful team. Have a great day, and weekend. Thank you for all you do to make First Tracks great! Rob So there you go! Even if no one else likes this post, I know Mom will. ;)
