2024 was such a jam-packed year for our team — we couldn't fit our recap into one post! 🙌 So today, we're sharing even more of the initiatives they took part in for the second half of the year: 🏃♂️ We volunteered at the "Where Will Color Take You?" 5k benefitting Youth Challenge — an organization focused on making recreational sports more inclusive ☀️ We sponsored the Gary K. Bish Memorial Beer Garden at Lakewood Summer Meltdown ⭐ Chalana Williams, SVP, Chief Community Development Officer, was featured in the 16th edition of Who's Who in Black Cleveland 🍽️ We attended the Benjamin Rose "Triumph" celebration luncheon in Cleveland 🤗 Our partnership with Northwest Neighborhoods continued, and included a variety of financial literacy seminars 🚗 We had a great time on the east side at Concord Community Days 🥳 We hosted our inaugural Good Neighbor and Community Appreciation Days both in our branches and at local businesses around Northeast Ohio 🍫 Yum! We were among the sponsors for the Lakewood Chocolate Walk 🍎 We packed 700+ bags of fresh produce for May Dugan Center's Food and Clothing Program 👕 Our Commercial Banking team volunteered at Shoes and Clothes for Kids, a non-profit that provides clothings, shoes, and school supplies to local children in need 👗 We were thrilled to be one of the sponsors for the 100 Black Men of Greater Cleveland Inc.'s Annual Scholarship and Awards Gala Looking back, this was such a great year full of community togetherness and unity! We can't wait for the fun to continue in 2025! 🙌

What a year it's been! 🥳 Our team stepped up in big ways. Here's a few highlights from the first half of 2024: 🏫 We attended Almira PreK-8 Academy's Annual Career Day and spoke with students about our career journey, a typical workday, education requirements, and more 🤗 Continued our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, which included volunteering at the Greater Cleveland ReStore on West 110th Street 🍅 We volunteered at the May Dugan Center multiple times, helping to pack hundreds of bags of food for their distribution program ❄️ At the Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging's "Winterlicious" event, we were on hand for their Home Delivered Meals program 🎤 SBA Specialist Jorge Colón presented at Ohio Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs Hispanic Legislative Visit Day 📚 We helped pack 350+ books with The Literacy Cooperative to be distributed to families in Cuyahoga County via Dolly Parton's Imagination Library program! ☀️ In May, we took part in both the Cleveland Asian Festival and El Centro Block Party 🌺 As an event sponsor, we were present at the Seeds of Literacy annual Brunch Among the Blooms, which promoted their GED and HiSET preparation programs for Cleveland-based adults 🎨 The Brunswick Art Show was a success! The branch had over 500 votes for the art pieces
