About us
First Tee enables young people to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. By seamlessly integrating the game of golf with life skills curriculum, we create learning experiences that build inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience that they carry through everything they do. Beginning in 1997 as a partnership among the LPGA, the Masters Tournament, the PGA of America, the PGA TOUR, and the USGA, First Tee is committed to furthering our positive momentum and building educational programs that are safe, welcoming, and as impactful as they are fun. Together with our chapters, school and community partners, we are strengthening our resolve to be agents of change for young people of all backgrounds as they navigate life’s challenges.

First Tee creates opportunities for personal growth by encouraging teens to embrace challenges and engage in meaningful experiences within a safe and supportive environment. 💚 We are committed to keeping teens engaged with the program, allowing them to build life skills and connect with mentors during what can be a challenging period of adolescence. Our national participant opportunities are designed to empower our teens to become game changers in their communities. Through our Ace capstone program and junior coach opportunities – we're not just teaching golf – we're building confidence, character and community! 💪 For more on ways to get involved in any of our teen opportunities visit our website or talk to your local chapter. #FirstTee #YouthEmpowerment #TeenLeadership #GrowingTheGame #CommunityImpact #Golf #YouthDevelopment https://lnkd.in/eqR8yNYQ

✨ Wellness Wednesday meets International Girls and Women in Sport Day! 🏌️♀️ "Playing sports has given me the coznfidence to try new things and fail. In golf, perfection doesn't exist - and that's the beauty of it. It gave me the courage to be brave enough to fail in front of others." - Lauren Kyaw, Coach Program Manager at First Tee 💪 Playing "like a girl" means playing with power, precision and passion. When we step onto that golf course, we're not just playing a game - we're breaking barriers and showing the next generation what's possible. 🌟 Today, we celebrate every girl and woman in sport who's daring to challenge stereotypes and inspire change!
