Last week, our CEO Greg McLaughlin addressed more than 800 of our chapter leaders during our Network Summit opening session, sharing several key wins that are moving our network forward: - 71 Chapters have been in the network for more than 20 years. - In 2023, we reached more than 155,000 young people across the Chapters, which rivals our top year in 2019. - Teen retention has been trending up the last three years. - Since 2019, we have invested in modernization – positioning the First Tee to better meet today’s kids and families, including enhancements to curriculum, investing in technology, refreshing our brand, introducing the College Scholarship Program and more. We are deeply proud of our Chapters and the work we’re doing as a network to meet the changing needs of today’s youth.

At First Tee, we guide kids and teens to show up stronger in everything they set out to do. Every single one of us plays a role in this. As we wrap our 2024 Network Summit, we’re leaving feeling more motivated than ever to come together as a united team to make this happen. 💪 We couldn’t have asked for a better week! 🤩 Thank you to all of the chapter staff, alumni, participants and partners that made this week what it was! ❤️ Can’t wait till next time!

While First Tee has evolved over its 27 years, our commitment to the kids and families we serve has not changed. This week we kicked off our biennial Network Summit in Phoenix where more than 800 of our chapter leaders have gathered to celebrate First Tee’s progress and to focus on furthering our impact. We can’t wait to see what the rest of this week has in store!

This Native American Heritage Month, we’re proud to recognize the work of Coach John Long from First Tee - South Dakota. Without access to a local golf facility, Coach Long is working to bring the game of golf—and its valuable life lessons—to more than 250 young Native American students on Pine Ridge Reservation. Through golf, Coach Long is building confidence, teaching life skills, and opening new doors of opportunity for the next generation of leaders.
