My followers grew and we need an reintroduction, I'm Anca Platon Trifan, CMP, DES, WMEP, an AV Prod & Tech expert, speaker, AI strategist, and host of the Events: demystified Podcast, and aspiring author. With 20+ yrs of experience, I’ve worked on events for celebrities, corporations, associations, and nonprofits—ranging from intimate gatherings to massive stadium productions with over 20,000 attendees. Whether in-person, virtual, or hybrid, I’ve produced events on rooftops in LA, stadiums across the country, and everything in between. At the heart of my career is AV production, but over the years, I’ve expanded my expertise to include event technology and in the last few years, AI, helping event professionals embrace practical use cases to streamline event workflows, boost engagement, and deliver next-level experiences. Through my #FIT4EVENTS framework, I integrate fitness, wellness, innovation, and empowerment into every project, because I believe thriving teams create thriving events. Travel is a huge part of my life—it’s how I stay mentally and emotionally fit. Getting out from behind the computer, meeting new people, working with different teams, shaking hands, and exploring the world fuels my creativity and connection to others. I value experiences and relationships over material possessions. Frugality is my superpower—I’d rather invest in education, growth, bodybuilding, creatine, and protein than in houses, cars, or designer purses. My priorities? Living intentionally and building a lifestyle that aligns with my passions. I’m also a passionate speaker, teacher and guide. Whether I’m speaking, hosting workshops, or recording podcast episodes, I love sharing actionable strategies to help event pros and business owners level up. Side note: Many of my AI workshops are available for free on-demand on my YouTube channel, because I believe in sharing knowledge freely to empower others. And if you’re not already listening, check out my podcast—your behind-the-scenes pass to the events industry, AV, AI, strategy, marketing and production insights. Don’t forget to subscribe and follow for bimonthly episodes featuring stories, strategies, and lessons from the frontlines of event planning. Post-COVID, I’ve embraced bodybuilding as a core part of who I am, winning several First Places in Natural Bodybuilding championships. The discipline and resilience I’ve developed under the barbell inspire everything I do, from coaching teams to managing events. I’m passionate about collaborating with: ✅ Event professionals ready to elevate their events with AV, tech, and AI ✅ Teams eager to learn and grow through speaking engagements and workshops ✅ Organizations that value innovation, empowerment, fitness and wellness If you’re ready to connect with someone who’s as passionate about AV and AI as they are about living intentionally, let’s talk. Here’s to making 2025 your most impactful year yet! #fit4events #fiteventprofs #fitover40

“Houston We Have a Problem” I’m gonna name and shame in this post because I can’t get over how much this bothers me. This post isn’t written with malice, it’s written from a place of acknowledging when something is broken so it can be fixed. I had a guest on the podcast last month who reminded me how important belonging is and how people’s socioeconomic backgrounds can unfortunately prevent that from happening. Next week is PCMA Convening Leaders in Houston and they are gatekeeping wellness and it’s NOT ok in my book. It’s actually one of the reasons I’m excited to be a chapter president elect so I can drive meaningful change. What do I mean? Every morning there are walks, workouts and what not that are not only sponsored, but they are charging $50 PER PERSON to participate in them that goes to the PCMA Foundation. Wellness should equate to “luxury”! This shouldn’t cost ANYONE, ANYTHING to participate in self care and it’s exactly why you won’t see me at a single session. So, how do we fix it? I don’t know all the financial details specifically but as I speculate, this is what I and what you can do. 1. Define your sponsorship cost based on hard costs. I can tell you if you’re paying more than $150 - $250 for a yoga or bodyweight bootcamp class, the vendor is ripping you off. Now, if you need equipment and or AV there could be additional costs. 2. Double it and earmark 50% of it as a charitable donation for the sponsor. This makes 1/2 of the sponsorships cost completely tax deductible. OR If you can get all your costs covered by the vendor in exchange for “awareness”, then 100% of the sponsorship is now tax deductible for the sponsor. These welllness activations aren’t just good for the attendees, they’re transformative for the organizers survey and attendee satisfaction scores. They drive cognitive function and the ability to learn and connection with others, making people feel like the time they spent away from home and their loved ones, and the $$$ they spent on travel were an investment and not an expense. What else can we do to make wellness approachable and accessible for everyone regardless of socioeconomic backgrounds? Since you read all the way to the bottom, here’s what Olympian Meeting is gonna do. We are offering 10, yes TEN scholarships for people to join a wellness session. So if you’re interested in taking advantage of this, comment below or send a DM as no one should excluded when it comes to wellness and self care. #PCMACL

Sometimes, the best marketing doesn’t come from a polished ad or a clever tagline—it comes from raw, authentic messaging that speaks directly to its audience. Take this product label as an example. It’s bold, unapologetic, and speaks to its core demographic with words that don’t just sell a product—they sell a mindset. "Train hard. Sleep harder. Take responsibility. Dare to lead." These phrases aren't just about fitness—they embody values that resonate deeply with driven individuals who strive to push limits and own their journey. And that’s where the genius of this marketing lies: it aligns with the lifestyle and aspirations of its audience, making it unforgettable. In the world of event marketing, there’s a lot we can learn from this approach: ✅ Know your audience. Speak their language. Understand their values and communicate in a way that resonates. ✅ Simplify the message. Strip away the fluff and get to the heart of what matters to them. ✅ Inspire action. Whether it’s attending your event or buying your product, create a call-to-action that feels personal and empowering. ✅ Be authentic. Authenticity isn’t just a buzzword; it’s what builds trust and connection in a saturated market. This label didn’t just market a product—it marketed a movement. Imagine applying this same philosophy to your next event. What’s your audience’s mindset? What will make them think, “This event gets me”? If you're ready to inspire, connect, and create events that resonate deeply with your audience, let’s explore how we can make it happen. #FIT4EVENTS is all about taking your events to the next level—empowering teams, thrilling audiences, and embracing bold ideas.

Sometimes, the numbers don’t tell the whole story. My training readiness is high, my sleep score is excellent, and all the data says I’m fully recovered and ready to take on the world. But today, my body and mind are telling me a different story—I feel tired and drained. This is a reminder that while data is an incredible tool, it’s just one piece of the puzzle. Listening to your body and honoring how you feel is just as important as what the metrics say. Some days, the best thing you can do is adjust—take it easy, rest, hydrate, and recharge. Data informs us, but intuition guides us. Trust both. #fitover40 #fit4events #fiteventprofs

I don’t know your story. But here’s a piece of mine. In 2020, I lost someone very close to me, and it shattered my world. That’s when I turned to fitness and bodybuilding. It became the one thing I could control while navigating the stages of grief. On the hardest days, when even getting out of bed felt impossible, lifting weights kept me going. It was my anchor, my outlet, my path forward. Now, years later, I can tell you this: It’s been a long and challenging journey, but there is beauty to be found again on the other side. If you’re in a tough season of life, here’s what I’ve learned: ✅ Take it one rep at a time. ✅ One breath at a time. ✅ One step at a time. ✅ One day at a time. When I’m in the gym, pushing through physical discomfort keeps me grounded. It reminds me that pain and struggle don’t last forever. It reminds me that I’m capable, even when I don’t feel like it. I just have to show up. The barbell in my hands becomes my truth: ✅ I will figure this out. ✅ I will survive. ✅ I will hang on. ✅ I am loved. Exercise has been training my brain and body for resilience for nearly two decades. I can’t imagine where I’d be without it. It’s not just about physical strength—it’s about the mental fortitude to face life’s hardest challenges. If you’re struggling, consider movement as a tool for healing. Find a compassionate trainer or fitness professional who can guide you. And if you don’t know where to start, message me—I’ll help you find someone who can. Resilience and strength are built one step at a time, and they can make all the difference. You’ve got this. #eventprofs #meetingprofs #fit4events
