The Florida Psychological Association (FPA) is a voluntary, member-based, professional organization comprised of psychologists. With over 1200 members, it is the largest professional organization for psychologists in the state of Florida. Our Mission The mission of the Florida Psychological Association shall be to: -To advance psychology as a science and profession and as a means of promoting health and human welfare -To improve the qualifications and usefulness of psychologists through high standards of ethics, conduct, education, and achievement -To increase and diffuse psychological knowledge through meetings, professional contacts, reports, papers, discussions and publications; and -To advance scientific interests and inquiry and the application of research findings to the promotion of health and public welfare.
