And what if reforestation was a viable business model?
About us
Floresta is a disruptive international green-tech company delivering a straightforward model, capable to tackle some of humanity’s biggest environmental issues to date: Nature’s ecosystems restoration and global warming, based on 2 fundamental principles: - A major technological process: allowing an ecological acceleration of teak trees growth, as well as an innovative financial tool allowing EXTENSIVE reforestation. - A research and development lab: allowing to pursue our research efforts, maximizing the efficiency of our carbon sequestration efforts, the preservation of the biodiversity, as well as our agricultural techniques. In 2021, the UN officially launched its decade on ecosystem restoration, with forest ecosystems at the heart of the effort, due to the fact forests are the biggest terrestrial carbon pits, they are filtering 75% of our drinkable water, are the principal home for biodiversity on land, are playing a crucial role in preventing soil erosion, and are an obstacle for pandemic propagation. As trees sequestrate the largest quantity of CO2 during their growth cycle, massive restoration of our forests is certainly one of the best, and most simple, ways to obtain large scale carbon sequestration, thus balancing our modern way of life. THE DIRECTORS Moran Hadad – Our President, a dynamic and innovative polytechnic engineer, graduate of the Polytechnic engineering faculty of the Brussels University with a long track record directing technology companies.
