2024 at The FHM This year has been eventful for us, to say the least! Here are some of the highlights from 2024: Museum Renovations: This July, we closed our doors for renovations. We're excited to re-open in 2025 and share everything we've been working on! At the topping off ceremony, local leaders celebrated our renovations and became a part of history by signing one of the beams at The Museum's original entrance. To Life: At this year's annual To Life Annual Benefit, we celebrated Chief of Police Anthony Holloway and author Rachael Cerrotti. Over 600 prominent community leaders came together to support The Museum’s mission. Education: Our team worked hard all year around to bring quality education programs to students around the state. Whether through teaching trunks, Speak Up, Speak Now®, the Speaker's Bureau, or any of our education initiatives, we prioritized making an impact through education. Pictured here is Survivor Viola Baras with members of our education team after a presentation. Thor Moving Day: On December 10, we welcomed Thor to its new home at The FHM. Thor is a Danish rescue boat that saved the lives of four Jews during the Holocaust, and we're honored to have this inspiring symbol of hope at our Museum. The Florida Holocaust Museum is grateful for your support this year, and we can't wait to see what 2025 brings!
