FocusPoint Private Capital Group (“FocusPoint”) is an independent capital raising and advisory firm specializing in providing customized and highly focused fundraising services. FocusPoint has established distribution, origination, and project management teams who have successfully raised capital in private markets for over 20 years. Since 2010, FocusPoint has participated with General Partner clients and closed on over $10 billion for a variety of third-party fundraising assignments. Our expertise covers a range of private market strategies including: buyout and growth equity, credit and income-related, real estate, real assets, venture capital, and other opportunistic strategies. We also service direct investments and have launched a seeding platform to support innovative management teams with unique and compelling strategies. FocusPoint advises on all aspects of the fundraising process including: competitive positioning and market assessment, marketing materials, partnership terms and conditions, and investor relations. We incorporate a rigorous due diligence process to select managers that perform well throughout all market cycles. FocusPoint's global distribution coverage extends to endowments, foundations, corporate and public pension funds, ultra-high net worth families, sovereign wealth funds, and other limited partners throughout North America, Europe, Middle East and Asia.     Another milestone! New 2ND Capital announced today, November 7, 2024, that it raised more than US$875 million for its third program, including co-investment vehicles, exceeding the fundraising target. The firm welcomed back many existing investors from New 2ND Capital Fund I and II, and added new investors from the US, Canada, Australia, the Netherlands, UK and other jurisdictions. New 2ND Capital Fund III has already deployed over 50% of its capital with 6 deals closed, and a 7th deal expected to close in Q4 2024. The program is backed by pension funds, financial institutions, asset managers and family offices. New 2ND Capital was supported by FocusPoint Private Capital Group (www.focuspoint.com) and advised by the global law firm Ropes & Gray LLP (www.ropesgray.com) in the raise of its third program.   • Kevin Pizzolo is the Managing Director at FocusPoint responsible for marketing and capital raising from pension plans, institutions and family offices across the Eastern US. Prior to joining FocusPoint, Kevin was a Financial Consultant with AXA where he held his financial advisory practice, servicing both individuals and institutions.
