Reflecting on an Incredible Symposium 🌟 Following our initial post about the "Advances in Contamination Control and Food Quality" Symposium, we want to take a moment to celebrate the broader contributions of the FoodSafeR consortium at this impactful event. In addition to the outstanding presentations by Cristina Fernández Avila (IRIS Technology Solutions), Martin Wagner and Rudolf Krska (FFoQSI), we were honoured to have Paul Williams (Queen's University Belfast), Cintia Mayr (AIT Austrian Institute of Technology), and Ids Lemmink (Wageningen University & Research) share their expertise. Their insights further enriched the discussions, covering cutting-edge approaches and innovative strategies to tackle current and emerging challenges in food safety and quality. This level of activity highlights the strength of our collaboration and the incredible work being done across our consortium partners. A heartfelt thank you to the symposium organizers for providing such a valuable platform to connect, exchange ideas, and contribute to advancing food safety and quality on a global scale. We are proud to be part of this thriving community and look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of innovation in food safety.
