What shall we eat today? foodtips.me

About us

FOOD TIPS app is designed to help users save food, money, and time by providing useful tips and suggestions for meal planning, grocery shopping, and daily cooking. So what shall we eat today? The inspiration behind this innovative solution came from our personal experiences. We, like many people, faced the recurring question of "what shall we eat today?" and sought a practical answer. This age-old dilemma, reminiscent of Hamlet's famous “to be or not be”, sparked the creation of FOOD TIPS. After months of hard work with a dedicated team, we're proud to present the fully functional FOOD TIPS app. It's designed with love and taste. Discover it. Bon appétit!

  • Make Choosing Meals Easier - Create a Routine Around Meals. Establishing a meal routine reduces the need to make repeated decisions. Some people find that having the same breakfast or lunch every day frees up mental space for other areas of life. For example, you might rotate between go-to options like oatmeal, yogurt, or a smoothie for breakfast. This routine doesn’t mean you’re stuck eating the same thing every day; instead, it provides a foundation of easy choices for days when you need them most. Or just try foodtips.me app and see how it helps you. https://foodtips.me/ #food #foodselection #simplerlife #foodtipsme

  • Social Pressure and Lifestyle Influences. In addition to choice overload and decision fatigue, social media and cultural expectations can further complicate our food decisions. Each day, we’re bombarded with advice on “the best” diets, health-conscious recipes, and ethically sourced foods, making it easy to feel pressure to eat in a way that’s not only tasty but also healthy and socially responsible. This overload of opinions can make a simple dinner or breakfast decision seem complex. Try foodtips.me app and see how it can make this choice much simpler and you will reduce that stress for choosing right food. https://foodtips.me/ #food #foodselection #simplerlife #foodtipsme

  • Decision Fatigue: The Exhaustion from Constant Choices. Decision fatigue is a mental state caused by the sheer volume of decisions we make daily. By the time we reach a meal, we’ve likely already made hundreds of other choices, from work tasks to personal responsibilities, and our brains are simply tired. This exhaustion reduces our ability to make clear choices, and it often leads us to opt for whatever is quickest or most familiar. https://foodtips.me/ #food #foodselection #simplerlife #foodtipsme

  • Make Choosing Meals Easier - Optimize Food Apps for Convenience. Food delivery apps can both help and hinder decision-making. Rather than scrolling through hundreds of choices, use filters or save a list of favorites to streamline options. Many apps also allow you to reorder past meals, which saves time when you don’t feel like making a fresh choice. If you’re craving a certain cuisine, limit yourself to that type for an easier selection process. Try foodtips.me app and see how it can make this choice much simpler and you will reduce that stress for choosing right food. https://foodtips.me/ #food #foodselection #simplerlife #foodtipsme

  • Choice Overload: Too Many Options, Too Little Satisfaction. We live in a time of endless food choices, from restaurant menus to grocery stores packed with every imaginable cuisine and ingredient. This is what psychologists call choice overload: having too many options makes decision-making harder and less satisfying. When it comes to food selection, choice overload means we often feel paralyzed by all the options, struggling to settle on what’s best. Whether you’re planning a quick breakfast or an elaborate dinner, each decision point can add mental strain. The availability of numerous cuisines and trending dietary choices, from keto to vegan, can make it seem like there’s a “perfect” option for every meal—a thought process that only leads to more indecision. Try foodtips.me app and see how it can make this choice much simpler and you will reduce that stress for choosing right food. https://foodtips.me/ #food #foodselection #simplerlife #foodtipsme

About half year ago we started start-up foodtips.me to solve small everyday problem, with a big potential for waste saving and better dieting. But it started small and instead of pursuing big investors we decided to invest that time in talking to users and finding what they want. As consequence there was very small budget for any expenses. So when I saw that our solution have to handle almost 65 thousands requests from more than 3 thousands unique visitors it I was pretty proud of our setup, architecture and engineers, that made that. It also serves as reminder to my future self and maybe others, that if you are working on validating your problem solution and finding market fit, you don’t necessarily need to have thousands of euros for running your app (if anyone is interested I will gladly explain it).
