Today, we reflect on the past, acknowledge the present, and commit to a future rooted in respect, learning, and reconciliation. Call to Action 92 asks for the recognition and respect of Indigenous rights, traditions, and culture in initiatives involving their land and resources. Indigenous communities have stewarded this land for countless generations. From understanding fire’s role in regenerating ecosystems to preserving biodiversity, Indigenous traditional knowledge is essential for effective and sustainable forest management and advancing the bioeconomy.🌿 Take time today to learn from Indigenous voices. Their voices are critical in shaping policies and practices that restore balance to the environment and heal the land. A meaningful step towards true reconciliation. 🧡 #NDTR #TruthAndReconciliation #CallToAction92 #HealingOurForests #For7Gen
