As we mark National Native American Heritage Day and wrap up National Native American Heritage Month, we invite you to meet a few employees who have supported our diplomatic efforts around the world. We highlight these employees in partnership with the Native American Foreign Affairs Council. The council works to advance the recruitment, retention, and career advancement of Native Americans at State, USAID, and other foreign affairs agencies. Together the Council and the Department promote a diplomatic workforce that reflects the diversity of the United States. #NativeAmericanHeritageDay #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth

FSI is committed to an accessible and inclusive workplace. This week, the U.S. Department of State released its first ever accessibility guide for Foreign Service Officers. This is a helpful resource not only for employees, but also for supervisors and allies. Every workplace should ensure employees with disabilities have access to equal employment opportunities and the tools needed to perform their essential job functions.
