"VERITUITY uses a mix of data, including payments metadata and the payments history between the two parties, to determine the likelihood of a payment being fraudulent." 💸 If the bank account number behind a usual payout has suddenly changed, that could be a sign of fraud or a business email compromise.  🏦 Beyond banks, the company also counts business (paying vendors) and insurers (paying claims) as customers.  💵 The company, which started out as a way to digitize checks, now allows its users to pay through 10 different methods including ACH, PayPal, and Zelle.  🎯 "We're able to make a determination on how much, with a level of confidence, we know that bank account or that Zelle account is an active account and it's linked to the payee," says CEO Ben Turner.
