Become a sponsor to support this preeminent law publication and celebratory event! This annual reception is the FELJ's primary fundraiser for the year and also provides attendees an opportunity to network with other Mid-Year Energy Forum attendees and ALJs in a casual environment after a full day of programs. The pen is mightier than the sword! Well, that is, unless you find yourself in a dark alley needing a weapon. I don't think anyone would argue that the sword is undoubtedly the winner in that scenario . . . In full disclosure, I wouldn't want to be stabbed by a pen either. But I digress . . . I'm happy to announce that I was recently elected to be President of the Board of FOUNDATION OF THE ENERGY LAW JOURNAL (FELJ). The FELJ is the overarching board which provides support and guidance for the Energy Law Journal's operations and strategic direction. The FELJ operates - in effect - as a sister/sub organization to the Energy Bar Association. The editorial content of the Energy Law Journal is managed by the FELJ together with The University of Tulsa College of Law. It's a very useful publication and an essential resource for many practitioners, regulators, policymakers, etc. (*Remember that whole thing about the pen?) I'm hoping to expand the breadth a little this year to include some content on the broadband-energy nexus that I've written about recently! #broadbandenergynexus Anyhow, it's an honor to be in this role and I look forward to working closely with the full FELJ Board, the EBA Board (and the big dog EBA Pres Conor Ward) and EBA Staff and Pres Jack Hannan! Shout-out to Adtran and my boss Brent Cancienne for continuing to support this work. I've been involved in the boards of EBA, Charitable Foundation of the Energy Bar Association, and FELJ for over 20 years! #PenFight #GameOn
