Founding Forward educates and inspires the leaders of today and tomorrow to carry these principles forward. To accomplish its mission, Founding Forward fosters immersive civic education experiences for students, teachers, and citizens through an array of in-person programs, historic resources and collections, scholarships, awards, speaker programs, and other unique learning opportunities.Founding Forward joins two organizations that share a belief in the importance of the foundation upon which our country and society stand, and a common mission to educate future generations on that foundation, and their duty to carry it forward. Happy Lincoln Day! In celebration of Lincoln's 216th birthday, Founding Forward held their annual Lincoln Day celebration to honor Lincoln's legacy and connection to the Union League of Philadelphia. The Union League was established to save the Union and support President Lincoln during the Civil War. It is fitting that Lincoln Day is one of the longest-standing traditions in the League—the formal celebrations date to the 19th century, with the program now presented by Founding Forward. #Lincoln #16thPresident #FoundingForward
