Our 2024 American crocodile annual report from the Turkey Point Clean Energy Center highlights another successful season with the second-highest nest count of 29 and the third-highest hatchling count of 529! The station implemented a crocodile monitoring program in the 1970s shortly after nests for the species were discovered at the plant’s cooling canals. Fast forward to today, these reptiles have flourished from just a few hundred in the 1970s to now over 2,000! Conservation efforts by the team onsite have been key to downlisting the species from endangered to threatened in 2007. PBS recently highlighted the program in a new feature, calling Turkey Point "a remarkable turnaround" and "a testament to the surprising ways that industry and nature can coexist." Check out these behind-the-scenes photos during filming and catch the full PBS story at http://spr.ly/6045INwp5

Community engagement and support for education are at the heart of what we do. That’s why we’re proud to support Education Foundation of Palm Beach County's Stuff the Bus event! Our volunteers were ready to “stuff the bus” with school supplies such as teacher easels, copy paper, crayons and pencils to ensure teachers have what they need to support the development of more than 180,000 students in The School District of Palm Beach County. 🚌 #FPLcares
