The Making Of: Childish Gambino - The New World Tour FRAMEWORX served as the content production company, collaborating with an exceptionally talented team to bring this innovative project to life. We created content for a diverse range of video surfaces, spanning traditional LED screens, large volumetric displays, custom wearable elements integrated with LED technology, and lighting fixtures mapped to display video content. To enhance the show's visual elements, we utilized a wide array of production techniques, including 3D capture, live-action shoots, and VFX. We also incorporated traditional motion graphics, photorealistic 3D animation, audio-reactive components, and real-time rendering with camera effects.

FRAMEWORX recently designed a show concept for Grupo Frontera's recent North American tour. The rising Regional Mexican stars played sold out arenas with 26 stops throughout the greater united States. FRAMEWORX was recently tapped to provide video content services for the Childish Gambino New World Tour. We joined a select team of incredibly talented individuals with the common goal of creating a forever memorable experience for the fans, as this would be the last Childish Gambino tour ever. From a content production standpoint the design contained many different styles of video surfaces, and there were many challenges during production integrating them all to create fully immersive moments. Surfaces ranged from traditional LED screens, to large volumetric surfaces, custom wearable components with led integration, and various lighting fixtures which received video mapped content.  Beyond the various surfaces, we also utilized various production techniques to build out the show elements. This past month FRAMEWORX worked on 4 Coachella performances, including this iconic performance by Lauryn Hill + The Fugees and her son YG Marley w/ special guests. This was a true collaboration between Ms Hill and our team and am so proud of the results. Having grown up istening to the Fugees and Lauryn Hil this was another special one for me. For the piece we used collage style animation and large bold iconic imagery to help tell an important story.
