Born in Ireland, woven in Italy, made in sunny California.

About us

Frank & Eileen was born in 2009 when former engineer Audrey McLoghlin sought to reinvent the button-up for women —a category previously focused solely on men. Inspired by Audrey’s Irish grandparents—our brand namesakes, Frank & Eileen—we have grown slowly and intentionally from our best-Italian-fabric-in-the-world-obsessed beginnings. Now a globally recognized fashion brand, Frank & Eileen is a certified woman-owned, women-led business that has retained 100% ownership while working with the same ethical, sustainable manufacturers for over a decade. Our mission is to model and support female entrepreneurship as a force for good—all from our family-friendly HQ in sunny California.

Our founder, Audrey McLoghlin had the pleasure of attending the 2nd annual Frank & Eileen Incubator & Accelerator Showcase at Marlborough School in Los Angeles. This incredible event highlighted the achievements of 23 talented student founders who have received mentorship and education to launch and grow their very own businesses throughout the school year. The program is powered by Frank & Eileen’s Giving Pledge, our pledge of $10M over ten years to educate the women entrepreneurs of tomorrow, through fellowships and programs at America’s top schools. These passionate student entrepreneurs shared their innovative products and services with remarkable pitch presentations, demonstrating key learnings and exciting developments they’ve experienced throughout the program. In the Incubator, students dove deep into a problem they were passionate about and prototyped a business solution. In the Accelerator, students took their business to the next level by analyzing the market and making important business decisions in collaboration with industry experts and dedicated mentors. A huge congratulations to all the participants for their hard work and dedication. We are excited to see the impact these budding entrepreneurs will have on the future. Special thanks to Marlborough School for running the program, and to the wonderful faculty, staff, and supporters who made it all possible: Lee Mirsky, PhD, Catherine Mino, Lauren Choi, Allison Ponzio, and Jennifer Ciccarelli. Thanks, Babson College, for highlighting the impact of scholarships. Great read featuring our very first Frank & Eileen scholar, Dominique M., who graduated last month with an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. We are so proud to support you on your entrepreneurial journey.

Hundreds of students—undergraduate and graduate—attend Babson due, at least in part, to the financial support provided by donor-funded scholarships.    These scholarships level the playing field. They remove or lessen the financial burden to ensure the College enrolls the most qualified students regardless of economic circumstance. They create a holistically diverse campus.    Here, we illustrate the impact of scholarships through the stories of six recipients: Global Scholar Mpho Montsho ’24, Blank Leadership Scholar Madison Grogan ’24, Weissman Scholar Nathan Herring ’24, Frank & Eileen Female Leaders of Tomorrow Scholar Dominique Miles MBA’24, Sorenson Arts Scholar Colby Martel ’24, and Enrico Dallas Scholar Luz Torres-Huerta ’24. https://lnkd.in/eifi9scd

We’re proud to announce that we have recertified as a B Corp with B Lab with a score of 125.5! Our new score remains the highest of any woman-owned U.S. fashion brand, a title we have proudly held onto since we first certified in 2020. Our +28 point increase represents our continued commitment to higher social, ethical, and environmental responsibility standards in pursuit of a more sustainable future for both people and our planet. To date, it’s a one-of-a-kind certification, and we’re very proud to be part of a greater movement of businesses driving change and making an impact by valuing purpose over profit. Thank you B Lab, B Lab U.S. & Canada, for leading the collective vision of reshaping the global economy for the betterment of all. For context on the scoring system: Becoming a certified B Corp requires a minimum score of 80 points on the B Impact Assessment. Non-mission-driven companies seeking certification typically score 50.9.  Companies must recertify every three years, and we’re thrilled that substantial strides in our social and environmental mission were recognized. Here’s how we did it: · Giving Pledge - Nurturing the leaders of tomorrow comes first. Our pledge of $10 million over 10 years continues to fulfill our goal of supporting female entrepreneurship. · Clean Supply Chain - We utilize natural resources and an ethical supply chain to maintain a sustainable, traceable product lifecycle. · Team Member Wellbeing - We took a 360-degree look at the people who power F&E—strengthening our benefit offerings and enhanced our culture of open communication. Thank you for supporting us and sharing our belief that slow fashion can be a Force for Good. Huge thank you to Carolina Miranda from Cultivating Capital for guiding us through this recertification process. We couldn’t have done it without you! #frankandeileen #bcorp

Frank & Eileen founder Audrey McLoghlin had the honor of joining Babson College for their business school commencement ceremony. We're thrilled to congratulate Dominique M., the first of our very own F&E scholars, to graduate with an MBA from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business!  Dominique was awarded The Frank & Eileen Female Leaders of Tomorrow Scholarship two years ago, made possible by our Giving Pledge of $10 million over 10 years, supporting the female entrepreneurs of tomorrow with fellowships and programs at America’s top schools. Dominique’s achievement is an incredible accomplishment and we’re proud to be part of her entrepreneurial journey. None of this would be possible without our cherished F&E community of loyal customers—thank you for being integral to fulfilling our mission of nurturing the female leaders of the future.  Learn more about Dominique and her journey to earn her MBA here:   https://lnkd.in/gJK-3JcC

Frank & Eileen founder and CEO Audrey McLoghlin was thrilled to participate as a speaker in Ernst & Young's #POWERUp alongside fellow female founders and entrepreneurs Jesse Draper, Kara Nortman, Stacy Johns, Natasha Li, and Angela Mangano last week! This session included an audience of 150+ women powerhouses and focused on EY’s commitment to gender equity, especially for female founders. Audrey shared her experiences as an entrepreneur, encouraging the audience to realize their purpose, “never allow anyone to treat you like a yellow starburst,” and change the world for the next generation. A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful team at Ernst & Young (with a special shoutout of recognition to Julie Locke) for providing a platform to share the mission behind F&E’s Giving Pledge, amplifying our commitment to nurture the female leaders of the future. #EYPowerUp
