In this week’s video, Robb Z challenges the common adage “some days you’re the hammer, some days you’re the nail,” to illustrate how a “Check The Box” mindset actually gets nothing done. https://lnkd.in/gP-FhicN For years, professionals have used “Get Stuff Done” mode, always aiming to be the hammer—efficient, unstoppable, and on the attack. But, what if this single-pointed focus on our tasks is actually what’s holding us back? Rather than focusing on checking boxes and pushing through tasks, we can shift our focus to reconnecting with our purpose, core values, and vision for what is truly important in our lives. It’s about showing up authentically every day, without the pressure of being either the hammer or the nail. And THAT is what leads to getting the results you are aiming for faster and with WAY less effort.

This week, Robb Z takes us on a deeper dive into our Time Management curriculum, as he describes approaching time management like a game of Skee-Ball. https://lnkd.in/gGYcx8Fh Anyone that’s been in our world for a while knows that time management doesn’t really exist. Time can’t be managed because time can’t be fired. However, there are some strategies you can be implementing to be sure you are maximizing your focus, and maximizing your prioritization, in order to get more done in the same amount of time, with little to no additional effort on your part. Just like a game of Skee-Ball, where you can decide where you want to place the ball for maximum return on your efforts (read: more tickets), the same approach can be taken with Red Time in order to “maximize your return” on the time and efforts you put in.

This week, Robb Z is here to talk about Immersions and Pie, and a fun little brain hack you can use with your team to ensure all eyes are on the prize when it comes to hitting whatever goal it is that you’re chasing down. https://lnkd.in/graAP_Sd The Train Your Brain For Success and Master Your Mind curriculum teaches us to be aware of and use our brain’s own, natural, default settings to our advantage. We know the number one thing your brain needs to work for you instead of against you is a heightened awareness of what’s most important. Well, when it comes to chasing down short term and term goals, the number one thing, that needs a heightened awareness is just simply what you’re chasing down.

In this week’s video, Robb shares a counterintuitive piece of advice as the end of 2024 approaches: Stop focusing solely on the finish line! https://lnkd.in/gpU599iT This time of year, it is quite common for most sales professionals to be experiencing the pressure to meet year-end deadlines and incentives. And while a 4th quarter sprint may be what gets you to your goal, it will often be followed by a period of burnout, from which it can be difficult to recover. To avoid this, a more pro-active perspective is required. Shifting our focus to developing lasting habits that will keep our sales pipeline full and ensure a smooth transition into the new year, we set ourselves up to finish strong AND maintain momentum into 2025.

One of our favorite lessons to help clients implement is the Daily Big 6. https://lnkd.in/gwykXShG It’s not a to-do list, but it helps you get a lot more of your important work done a lot more efficiently and effectively. The lesson stems from a conversation between efficiency expert Ivy Lee and his client Charles Schwabb back in the Bethlehem Steel days. This one lesson, when implemented and followed, actually resulted in a $25,000 check getting written to Lee. That’s about a half million dollars in today’s money.

Here's Robb Z with a simple tip that will improve the effectiveness of your time management and your dinner decisions. In this week’s video, we’re discussing the similarities between managing work and navigating personal relationships, particularly the stress of decision making. Using the analogy of choosing a restaurant with a partner to illustrate how treating your calendar like a relationship can lead to unnecessary stress, Robb emphasizes the importance of proactively planning your schedule using the Two Hour Solution, which helps streamline your work and align it with your goals, eliminating the stress of decision making so you can be fully present with your clients, your colleagues and your dinner partner. https://lnkd.in/guXcxt4K
