This #TeamworkTuesday, we highlight Friends of Baseball! FOB strives to enhance children’s lives through baseball & softball’s power to teach. They believe every child should have the opportunity and tools to swing for the fences on and off the field. FOB works to have baseball-inspired academic and physical education after school and summer enrichment programs and multiple scholarships for youth to have access to play for local leagues and teams! We are a 2024 Sports 4 Life grant recipient! The Women's Sports Foundation Sports 4 Life program is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and we could not be more excited to be a part of this special class of grantees. This national initiative – co-founded by WSF and ESPN in 2014 and supported by Gatorade – utilizes the power of sport to build a solid foundation for Black, African-American, Hispanic and Native American girls to thrive on and off the field of play.
