In honor of Memorial Day last week, our Proud to Serve Resource Group at Fruit of the Loom, Inc.'s Corporate Office in Bowling Green, KY, participated in placing flags at the resting place of veterans’ graves at J.C. Kirby & Son Bowling Green Gardens Cemetery to honor and remember the fallen military heroes. An Employee Resource Group at Fruit of the Loom, Inc., our employee-led Proud to Serve Resource Group supports, engages and promotes military veterans, guard members and reservists throughout the Company. The group also offers opportunities to network with fellow military employees and provides support to our employees who have family members serving in active duty. 

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, an opportunity to take a moment to recognize the importance of attending to mental health, which is just as important as physical health. At Fruit of the Loom, Inc., we’re proud to provide our employees with a range of #MentalHealth resources, including our Employee Assistance Program with free 24/7 counseling, virtual mental and behavioral health consultations through our benefits plan, and hosted virtual and in-person events with learning opportunities to tackle #StressManagement and #MentalHealthatWork. 

Through our Threads of Change program, our employees are encouraged to give back to the many communities where we live and work. We're proud to partner with United Way of Southern Kentucky to serve others in need within our community!

It’s World Water Day — and we are proud to unite with other responsible businesses around the globe in our efforts to protect and conserve a precious resource. Since 2018, Fruit of the Loom, Inc. has conserved 278,776 cubic meters of freshwater — enough to hydrate 1,260 mature redwood trees for one year. Fruit of the Loom, Inc. is proud to support local charitable organizations through our #ThreadsofChange program. Recently, our own Evan Harris enjoyed participating in BARREN RIVER AREA CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER INC's Over the Edge event, where he rappelled 5 stories down from Stadium Park Plaza!   The event supported Barren River Area Child Advocacy Center, whose mission is to reduce trauma to child abuse victims by providing one safe, child friendly location for response and healing.
