Every hour of every day, employees at our facilities in the US (California, Texas and North Carolina), UK, Denmark and Japan are on a mission to bring medicines to patients faster. Our roadmap through 2028 will see us expand our existing manufacturing capabilities and capacities in Holly Springs, College Station, Billingham, Hillerød and Toyama, replicating the same proven technology, facility designs, equipment, processes and procedures. We call this manufacturing ecosystem kojoX. With kojoX, we’re transforming biopharmaceutical manufacturing for the good of the customer and the patient. Every expansion we add to our current network not only increases our global manufacturing capacity, it also provides quicker turnaround times and scalability -- no matter the location. As Partners for Life, we’re here to offer quality and consistency, bringing lifesaving medicines to patients faster, around the globe. https://lnkd.in/d97zix6W #PharmaManufacturing #HealthcareInnovation #LifeSciences #GlobalHealth #SupplyChainManagement

Did you know that Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies is manufacturing in 4 different countries across the globe? Well, you do now. Across the US, UK, Denmark and Japan, we work every day to produce medicines for patients faster and with the same high level of quality, reliability, and efficiency at every facility. Across these strategic locations, we are transforming the industry by adding capacity while standardizing proven technologies and ways of working. We call this “kojoX”. With kojoX we harmonize facility designs, equipment, processes, and procedures across our network to increase speed and at the same time ensure consistency, quality and scalability in biomanufacturing. Our first capacity expansion in Denmark came online in 2024. Next milestone is completion of the first phase of our facility in Holly Springs, North Carolina. Here we are set to go live in 2025. But it doesn’t stop there. With more than $8bn invested, we will continue to bring capacity online and with kojoX we’re committed to delivering change for the good of the customer and the patient. When we first broke ground on our planned global biomanufacturing hub in Holly Springs, NC back in 2022, the completion of the site felt impossibly far away. Now, 2 years later, we’re excited to show off what you can expect when it comes online in 2025. As the largest and most flexible biomanufacturing plant in the US, Holly springs will feature 8 x 20,000 L bioreactors up and running at launch, with an additional 8 x 20,000 L bioreactors online in 2028. This $3.2bn project is a testament to the power of our kojoX approach, which means that we replicate the same proven technology, facility designs, equipment, processes and procedures – guaranteeing quality and speed, no matter the location. In this case between Holly Springs, US and our facility in Hillerød, Denmark. KojoX guarantees that patients receive the same high-quality product, regardless of where it is manufactured. Our Hillerød site recently welcomed 30 of our cutest-ever visitors—babies under the age of 1—along with their parents! The Danish team hosted an event for a professional parental leave network, which supports parents in Denmark during their leave—often up to a year—helping them stay inspired and connected to their work life as they prepare to return. The event included an engaging talk on using futurism in organizations, offering practical ideas and insights for everyone involved. It was a wonderful reminder of how career growth and family life can go hand in hand, with our smallest guests adding a special energy to the day. Thank you to all the parents and babies for visiting us—it was a pleasure to host you! #WorkLifeBalance #ParentalLeave #CareerAndFamily
