🎥 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽:  𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗱 𝗥𝗼𝘄 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻: 𝗥𝘂𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗼𝗽𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 Glen Glenn Studio Hollywood 🎞️ What an unforgettable evening of resilience, hope, and transformation! On November 19, we had the privilege of watching the powerful documentary Skid Row Marathon in stunning HDR by Barco, followed by an inspiring discussion with Judge Craig Mitchell, the film’s German creators, and one of the characters impacted by the Skid Row Running Club — a true German-American collaboration. The film tells the incredible story of recovering addicts and former convicts who find new purpose through marathon training, under the guidance of Judge Craig Mitchell.  The post-screening discussion was just as moving, with Judge Mitchell sharing his tireless work to help hundreds of homeless individuals turn their lives around—raising funds to take them to marathons across the globe and inspiring similar initiatives in other communities. The production team recounted the challenges of filming in such a raw environment, immersing themselves in the homeless community, and navigating logistical hurdles like international travel for the running club. A huge thank you to Miles & More GmbH for their generous sponsorship, which allowed GABA to offer this impactful evening to our community and Barco for hosting and supporting this event at their Glen Glenn Studio in Hollywood. Special thanks to Gabriele Hayes and Mark Hayes for filming under extreme conditions on Skid Row, and to Kim Planert and James Stolz for their breathtaking cinematography and dynamic music composition that elevated the entire experience.
