3 facts you need to know about pressure washing! 1️⃣ Humidity Extends Drying Time: In South Florida's humid climate, water takes longer to evaporate after pressure washing. Painting too soon can seal in moisture, causing paint to bubble or peel. In turn, we always build in extra drying time to ensure a durable finish. 2️⃣ Salt Residue Needs Removal: Coastal air carries salt that clings to walls, often invisible to the naked eye. Painting over this residue can lead to adhesion problems and premature paint failure. A thorough pressure wash removes these salt deposits, allowing paint to properly adhere. 3️⃣ Mold & Algae Return Fast if Spores Aren't Killed: Merely rinsing isn't enough-spores can remain and quickly regrow in Florida's warm, damp environment. A beautiful before and after of a Coral Gables Home for Valentine’s Day! We did a pressure washing, painted walls, trim, fascia and gates! If you want to know what color is trending, it’s white! A timeless, fresh and classy look. We went with @sherwinwilliams exterior SuperPaint, using Pure White, Flat! Then we used the SW SuperPaint Tricorn Black, Satin for the trim.
