  • Did you know that one of our organizational values is "Learn New Tricks"? We don't just want to teach the importance of #GrowthMindset to the youth we serve, we want to fully embody it across our organization! 🧠🌻 In the spirit of Learning New Tricks, you're invited to join us Thursday, January 23 to learn about "Cleaning Up Food and the Living Environment" for our pets' health and happiness, presented by Becci Scott, CHPHC. She will be sharing information about everything from sourcing clean ingredients and the safest bowls to use for your pet, to selecting pet-friendly household cleaners, air fresheners, and more. This presentation is generously sponsored by Amara & Associates to help share our mission along with helpful information for pet owners, so it's entirely free to attend. We hope you'll RSVP (t.ly/pi3KB), share with your friends, and join us and like-minded pet lovers to learn something new! 💜

  • Imagine a room filled with children’s laughter, the comforting presence of a therapy dog like Copper, and the quiet focus of kids creating something special. 🥰 In their final session in our Paws for Resilience group program, 212 youth this year decorated photo frames with bright colors, shiny gemstones, and heartfelt words—personal souvenirs celebrating the strength and resilience they discovered and grew in the program. For many, this program was life-changing, helping them discover they are strong, capable, and supported. But the demand is growing—181 extra youth are already on a waitlist for next year, hoping for their chance to experience the transformative power of pet therapy. Your support can make that possible, helping to expand Paws for Resilience and bring healing, hope, and celebration to more kids in 2025. Make your gift today at gabrielsangels.org/donate and be part of their journey of self-discovery and growth!

  • Imagine you’re a young student having a tough day at school. Then you walk into the classroom, and there she is—Bella, tail wagging, eyes sparkling, ready to remind you to let go of worries and just be in the moment. 🥰💜 This year, Bella played an important role in our new collaborative program with Mindfulness First, helping students learn mindfulness, kindness, courage, and connection. Through her calming presence, Bella inspired emotional growth and gave students the tools to reflect, heal, and celebrate their progress. The impact was transformative for this first group of youth involved—and the demand is growing. We’re eager to expand this program next year, with ten more youth already on the waitlist - and your gift today can help us ensure they don’t have to wait any longer. Donate today at gabrielsangels.org/donate and help us expand these transformative programs and bring more moments of growth and celebration to life in 2025!

  • Amara, Emmy, and Jaxen each had a unique journey this year, but shared one thing in common: the life-changing impact of reading with Therapy Dog Ellie in our ABC Program. Over the course of the semester, Therapy Dog Ellie and her handler Barb became their reading buddies, offering a safe, judgment-free space to build confidence and self-esteem. 🥰 This year, Ellie and her fellow therapy dogs supported 87 children in our ABC Program, but the need is growing. There are an extra 69 children on the waitlist, eager for their chance to discover their own love of learning with a supportive therapy dog companion. Your donation can help us reach them, creating more unforgettable moments and fostering resilience, confidence, and healing for the kids who need it most. Can we count on your support? • There are two things that seem to be on everyone's mind at the end of the year: - spending time with family and friends 🥰 - and preparing for taxes 🫠 If you're looking to lower your taxes while making an impact in our community, supporting a nonprofit like Gabriel's Angels can help with both. In addition to the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, here are a few more giving options to consider to lower your taxes owed: ➡ appreciated stock ➡ donor-advised funds ➡ annuities ➡ charitable remainder trust ➡ required minimum distribution Make your gift before the end of the year to maximize your impact and minimize your taxes, a win-win for you and our community's youth! 💜

  • "I wanted to reach out and say thank you and share how much we appreciated your teams coming last Friday! They were amazing and our youth had a great time getting to know the pups and their owners! The youth asked so many questions about therapy dogs, and about the careers of each of the volunteers!" When our partners at Child Crisis Arizona requested our support for a quarterly participant feedback meeting for their new Extended Foster Care Program, we were excited to oblige! Our incredible volunteers each spoke for 5+ minutes about their professional experience and shared advice for the young people in attendance, along with sharing their lovable therapy dogs. The program manager shared that this meeting had the highest attendance yet, helping them receive the invaluable feedback and insights of the young people who are participating in the program. 💜
