On today's episode of the Infinite Jungle, I chat with Prysm developers "Potuz" and Terence Tsao about enshrined proposer builder separation, also called execution payload block separation (ePBS). ePBS is a fast developing series of code changes that will remove the need for validators to rely on trusted relays to earn additional MEV block rewards. ePBS also has other benefits including improved node bandwidth and CPU usage. Terence and Potuz are working to build consensus in the Ethereum community for including ePBS in the next network-wide upgrade after Pectra, which is called Fusaka.
