One youth basketball coach doesn’t believe so, stating “If parents reach out first, those college coaches are going to strike your name off the list.” Coaches & parents, comment your thoughts? ⤵️ #BasketballMom #BasketballDad #BasketballCoach #BasketballCoaching #YouthBasketball #AAU #GameUp

By the Numbers: Star recruit AJ Dybantsa announced his commitment to BYU and is believed to be getting a record-setting NIL deal. Dybantsa committed to BYU over high-major schools, and according to CBS Sports' Matt Norlander, BYU, North Carolina, and Alabama all met Dybantsa’s “asking price” of about $5 million. Norlander also reported Dybantsa has sponsorship deals that are worth at least another $1 million. Dybantsa is another example of just how much of a change NIL is causing in college athletics. How do you think collectives paying players will continue to impact recruiting?

How the team mirrors the best player’s attitude in youth basketball by Gilbert Arenas 📝 Some key points ⤵️ 1. The star player demands the rest of the team to listen to coach simply by listening. 2. When the star play pays attention, the rest of the team has no option but to listen because they are “option 2, 3, 4, 5”. 3. The coach only is around the team every once in a while, where as the star player is amongst his peers on a close to daily basis. Thus, a much stronger relationship is formed. #BasketballCoach #BasketballCoaching #YouthBasketball #GilbertArenas #AAU #GameUp
