“One-day” garage floor coating systems are done for the benefit of the installer’s profit line and not for the overall quality and longevity of your garage floor. These systems stretch a gallon of product over 400 sq ft, so it goes down paper thin with minimal penetration into the substrate. It’s called “dip-and-roll”, much like painting.
