We've unloaded the first sections of steel water pipe (SWP) onsite at the City of Fayetteville, Arkansas West Transmission Main project, marking the start of installing 11 miles of 48-inch transmission main. This new main will increase capacity, optimize flow, and ensure access to safe drinking water for Fayetteville's growing community. Garney recently celebrated the Lake Ralph Hall Pipeline project with a "last pipe" event. Once completed, the 32-mile pipeline will connect Lake Ralph Hall to the communities of Denton and Collin Counties, Texas. This pipeline will provide up to 54 million gallons of water per day to thousands of residents in North Texas. Garney is proud to serve as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) on this project, partnering with Upper Trinity Regional Water District, Lockwood, Andrews & Newnam, Inc. (LAN), Black & Veatch, Jacobs, and Freese and Nichols. We had a great time hosting NICE KC seniors at our Build Lab in North Kansas City! During Senior Recruitment Day, students explored the vital role of the water and wastewater industry in building and sustaining communities. They toured the lab and participated in four interactive, hands-on stations, gaining insights into carpentry and framework, construction technology, mechanical joints and piping, and construction equipment. We're excited to see where their journeys take them!
