Garver’s Houston office participated in a Walk for Water fundraiser hosted by Water Mission and GRUNDFOS. The event raises awareness of the daily walk for water made by those who don’t have the luxury of turning on the tap and raises money to fight the global water crisis. Garver is proud to support Water Mission and the effort to ensure that all people have access to clean drinking water. #GarverGives #FeelGoodFriday

Garver’s Water Technology Team Manager Ashley Pifer, PhD, PE, and Creative Communications Leader Guy Choate traveled to New York last weekend for the World Water Film Festival’s screening of Garver’s documentary about the Water Environment Federation's Ops Challenge competition. Ashley participated in a panel with other distinguished industry leaders to discuss PFAS challenges and solutions, while Guy attended the screening and fielded questions from the audience afterward. Safe, reliable water couldn’t be delivered to communities without the hard work of water and wastewater operators, and we’re proud that our film gives these unsung heroes the attention they deserve. The City of Tulsa recently celebrated 100 years of the Spavinaw Water Project bringing clean, high-quality water to Tulsa. To mark the occasion, there were food trucks, music, a one-mile Fun Run, a 5K race, and a time capsule was dedicated by the city and will be buried in Spavinaw at the dam. Garver was proud to sponsor both the Friday celebration in Spavinaw and the Saturday 5K race at the Mohawk Water Treatment Plant in Tulsa. Many from Garver’s Tulsa Water, Transportation, and Field Services teams volunteered and participated in the race on Saturday. The Spavinaw Water project is an engineering marvel, and being part of its centennial celebration was an honor. Garver is dedicated to transformative projects like this that provide Oklahoma communities with sustainable solutions for reliable drinking water. #GarverWater

Garver is proud to partner with Aris Water Solutions on a significant pilot demonstration project, supported by and in collaboration with multiple oil and gas companies and midstream operators, that will help prevent the waste of billions of gallons of produced water in the Permian Basin. Garver led the design of the pilot treatment system, assisted in construction and startup, provided onsite pilot demonstration support, and more. This pilot is further proof that the technologies needed for indirect and direct potable water reuse continue to be proven out - and that’s great news for communities and regions affected by drought. Garver had a great time hosting 11th graders from the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce's Youth Leadership Program at our North Little Rock office last week. We showed the students how fun a career in the engineering field can be with a hands-on activity — building Rube Goldberg machines! By sparking an early interest in STEM-related fields, we’re seeking to address the current shortage of engineers and inspire the next generation of innovators. #FeelGoodFriday #GarverGives
