We develop mission critical solutions for those that lead, serve and protect the world we live in.

About us

At General Dynamics Mission Systems, a business unit of General Dynamics, we develop mission critical C4ISR solutions across the land, sea, air, space and cyber domains, but that doesn’t tell our whole story. When downed pilots are isolated in enemy territory, our equipment gives them a lifeline to call home. When a student opens a textbook to learn about the universe, they’re looking at data and pictures sent using our technology. When the government needs to share crucial top-secret information, our products help them keep this information out of the wrong hands. When sailors need to locate underwater mines, our technology allows them to find explosives with unmanned underwater vehicles. Delivering C4ISR technology is what we do but we think why we do it is more important.

Product Manager Mission Network (PdM MN), Project Manager (PM) Tactical Network, and PdM Command Post Integrated Infrastructure (CPI2), PM Interoperability Integration and Services (I2S), supported the 1st Infantry Division command post exercise (CPX), which concluded last week at Fort Riley, Kansas. During the CPX the unit leveraged its newly integrated prototype commercial network on-the-move capabilities in preparation the Army’s Armored Formation Network On The Move (AFN OTM) Pilot II, to be conducted during the unit’s combat training center (CTC) rotations later in FY25. Soldier feedback from the pilot will inform Army decisions on the right mix of baseline network on-the-move and at-the-quick-halt capabilities to enhance speed of maneuver, survivability, and lethality for armored formations during multi-domain large scale combat operations. During the week of Veterans Day, General Dynamics Mission Systems recognized the military community across many of its U.S. sites and facilities. In Bloomington, Minn., systems administrator, Joe N., presented his manager, Randy K., with the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) Patriot Award. Novak, an 18-year veteran of the Minnesota Army National Guard, nominated Randy for his exceptional support and management of team members in the Guard and Reserve. “Being able to support our Guard and Reserve employees is just another great way that General Dynamics Mission Systems supports the warfighter,” said Randy. “I am honored and privileged to work with these dedicated military employees every day.” #ESGR #VeteransDay #MilitaryFriendEmployer #Reservist #NationalGuardsman

  • At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we champion our veterans by fostering a supportive team environment, creating a workplace community that values their contributions and promotes their professional growth. We talked to U.S. Air Force Colonel, Giovanni S., who is a Senior Principal Systems Engineer here about his military background and experience. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐣𝐨𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲? As I was registering for my second degree at the University of North Dakota, I ran out of funding. A U.S. Air Force recruiter came up to me and asked me a few questions. I already had 1,200 hours of flying, and they offered to pay for my second degree and give me a job! 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐫 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐯𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐞?
