Legacy. Dedication. Teamwork. 🤝 Meet Norbert and David, a father-son duo whose shared commitment to healthcare spans decades. For 35 years, Norbert has been a Region Support Engineer with GE HealthCare, helping to deliver life-changing technology to communities. Growing up in Limburg, Germany, David watched his father’s dedication and was inspired to follow in his footsteps. Today, David makes his own mark as a CT Product Sales Specialist. Their worlds recently collided in the most meaningful way: Norbert provided support for the installation of a CT system that David’s team sold to their local imaging center. Reflecting on the experience, David said, “It was truly special for me.” But this isn’t the first time they’ve worked as a team. Years ago, Norbert coached David on the football field, instilling lessons of teamwork and perseverance. Now, those same values guide them as they make a difference in the lives of patients. Here’s to the incredible stories that connect generations and drive our purpose forward. 💜 #GEHealthCare #ComputedTomography #EveryRoleisVital

“I was born prematurely and placed in an incubator for the first few months of my life. Due to a malfunction while I was in there, I now have a visual disability (almost total blindness). When I joined GE HealthCare, I was feeling uncertain about my purpose at work. A few months into the role, I took a trip to one of our sites, and I saw how our incubators saved the life of a five-month-old baby. That moment felt like the sign I’d been looking for. I realized that, even in my office role, I’m part of the mechanism that makes these advancements possible—helping ensure others don’t have to face what I did.” Mateo Terrile proudly shared his story with us this week, as we celebrated how the resilience and creativity of our colleagues with disabilities makes us all better. Together, we're building a future where disability rights are human rights, and every voice is heard. Learn more at: https://lnkd.in/eJKqKXpc #IDPD2024 #DisabilityInclusion #AccessibilityMatters
