💡 AI in Finance: Redefining Decision-Making and Cost Structures At our event Enabling AI, Christopher Hale, CEO of KLEAR Inc., highlighted how AI is transforming the world of finance, where every decision carries weight—and cost. By reducing the cost of decision-making, AI has the potential to ripple through entire ecosystems, impacting everything from the price of goods to supply chain efficiency. How do you see AI reshaping cost structures in your industry? Let’s discuss below! 👇 #AI #Finance #Innovation #SupplyChain #Technology#FinanceRevolution #AIinFinance #DecisionMaking #CostEfficiency #SupplyChainManagement #MobileOperators #MarketingStrategy #DataROI #InvestmentTrends #TelecomInnovations

Understanding how #ai effects corporate strategy is critical role for boards to understand the complexity in using, integrating and deploying #artificalintelligence. Risks, costs and capability all need to be weighed and having boards be aware of how this maps to their current corporate strategy is key. Conversation such as this one Rita Scroggin leads is fundamental for long term growth of any company operating in todays AI ecosystems.
Founder Rita Scroggin discusses all things #AI. This conversation promises to be a deep dive into AI's role in shaping the future of leadership, innovation and reinvention to drive company performance and risk of disruption in a rapidly changing world.

This was a top notch event put on by GenLab Venture Studio, I was lucky to participate.
Thank you to all who joined us at GenLab Enabling AI. Your participation made this an incredible event. We had an epic time learning how to support AI at the intersection of #AI, #data, #criticalinfrastructure, and #autonomoussystems. With twenty executives, founders, and VCs with expertise in AI, infrastructure, and data, we had a deep discussion about the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence's hyper-scale growth. Thank you to our host at Digital Garage, Inc. , our partner and LP. Panel 1: Foundational Models & Agents Panelists: Shuchi Rana (moderator), Angela Hoover, Marlan K. Hardie, Hikari Senju The biggest takeaway from this panel is that we will continue to see the increasing use of agentic systems to leverage foundational models to accomplish more complex tasks, such as researching and booking appointments, generating content based on real-time data, and optimizing across various platforms. Panel 2: It's All About the Data Panelists: Brady F. (moderator), Feyzi Celik, Olivia Gebhardt, Christopher Hale Unsurprisingly, this panel agreed that Data is a, if not the, Key Driver of AI. Organizations must be able to trust the provenance of the data at scale. We also addressed the increasing importance of data governance, particularly regarding sovereignty issues, privacy concerns, and complexities of data regulations, while ensuring the ethical and responsible use of data. Panel 3: Infrastructure for Rapid AI Growth Panelists: Jesse Robbins (moderator), Amit Eyal Govrin, Jason Goecke, Charlie Robbins There is a Massive need for Infrastructure Investment. Current energy infrastructure is insufficient to meet the demands of AI growth. To address AI's energy needs, a significant investment of approximately $630 billion will be made over the next five years. Panel 4: Autonomous Systems Panelists: Daniel Riedel (moderator), Stephen Sandford, Ryan W., Fatema Hamdani AI is already in the Physical World; you just may not realize it. AI is being deployed in various autonomous systems, including satellites, UAVs, and advanced sensor platforms. It is being used for space debris monitoring, disaster response, human trafficking interdiction, and other critical applications. There is a growing need for Edge Computing and non-GPS Navigation to enable autonomous systems. These systems must process large amounts of data in real time, make decisions autonomously, and operate reliably in challenging environments where centralized infrastructure may be unavailable. Thanks to everyone GenLab Venture Studio, Enabling AI Conference was a resounding success. We offered insights and meaningful connections and sparked exciting new possibilities in artificial intelligence. Look forward to seeing you at our next event!

This is an excellent write-up from last night, including summaries of all of the demoing startups. Thanks Chris Kenton
The 15th running of the Llamas was back in San Francisco last night, with Jeremiah Owyang’s AI showcase showing off 10 new AI startups at GenLab Venture Studio on Market Street. At my first Llama Lounge last year, Jeremiah was encouraging startups to step up and demo; now the wait list is over 700 companies! Fascinating mix last night. There were several solid infrastructure plays, focused on helping companies advance their own AI development. Much of the discussion around those demos focused on trust, security and automation. Infactory offers a platform to help enterprise companies “talk to their data” with a “Fact Platform”, making it easy for teams to work with structured and unstructured data, including text and images. For anyone chained to a gargantuan Digital Asset Management tool, this is something to look at. Coval (YC S24) presented a simulation and evaluation platform for testing voice and chat agents. They’ve apparently already closed their first round. Kubiya.ai provides a platform with “AI Teammates” for Dev and Infrastructure Ops. They distinguish Teammates from Agents and CoPilots by focusing on compliant autonomy—basically an agent with strict guardrails mapped to your rules and processes. Ownlayer offers an AI production-accelerating platform with a suite of tools to help you create datasets, automate labeling, analyze and evaluate your AI. BTW: half of these infrastructure companies are founded and led by women. Jeremiah ensures at least a third of all Llama demos are women-led, but many of the events are reaching parity. The next interesting trend I noticed last night was the number of startups focused on education and personal development. LearnTube.ai has a robust platform for AI-directed learning via YouTube videos. Based in India, LearnTube helps users learn and get certified on hundreds of high demand skills. StarSpark.AI is focused on improving math learning for children, using AI to create a personalized learning environment through conversational learning. Instead of passive videos, it engages the student in inquiry-based learning. socra presented a really interesting platform for “crushing your goals”. It provides an AI assistant that will help you identify, plan and manage your goals—kind of like a project management tool, but instead of spending your time jockeying the application, AI takes care of that so you can focus on your tasks. Of the last three startups, only one was focused on a consumer market, but it’s a hot one. Gondola provides an AI tool for managing and optimizing your travel points and rewards. Mobot demo’d an AI-powered robot for physically running device simulations and testing. Think of a rack of robotic hands to operate devices automatically. Lastly, CommonAR provides a networking tool that allows you to connect more easily with strangers at events via sharing and discovering affinities of the people around you. Big thanks to Jeremiah, for showcasing the best of San Franscisco!
