#GeopostInnovationDay We have brought together thought leaders and innovators to discuss innovation, sparking ideas that will shape the future as we witness the transformation of the world of commerce and delivery. Our CEO Yves Delmas opened the event with a thought-provoking keynote, emphasising the intertwined nature of commerce, society and innovation. Yves challenged the status quo, citing startups and established, saying innovation transcends company age. He went on to underscore the importance of entrepreneurship, stressing innovation's role in adapting to future challenges. He concluded on Geopost's commitment to sustainable delivery and innovation. The first fireside chat welcomed Plug and Play Tech Center’s Liza Donskaya and Mistral AI’s Guillaume Bour for a discussion around how #AI is transforming the future. Lisa dove into the details with Guillaume who highlighted the levers of success at Mistral AI. Guillaume shared the company’s ambition to make AI ubiquitous despite being in a young market that began in 2022 with the launch of #ChatGPT. Lisa wrapped up with the fact that #GenerativeAI will redefine organisations, transforming processes and client interaction, though personalisation is key for customer engagement. The next session, an interactive panel, brought together four experts: Plug and Play Tech Center's Zoë Chrysostom, Geopost’s Hana Lee, Meta’s Guillaume Cavaroc and DPD UK’s Chris Meir, to discuss e-shopping and the changes taking place from discovery to delivery. Hana opened the topic with key data including the resiliency of e-shopping, drivers to purchase online and the growth of C2C. Guillaume brought to light the ever-stronger role of social media in the online purchasing experience, citing 47% of people confirm discovering products on social platforms. Chris provided an in-depth look at how AI is transforming the delivery experience for the final customer. For example, AI can check the photo a driver takes of where a parcel was delivered, ensuring it's placed in the customer's preferred area. #Innovation #Technology #Entrepreneurship

#GeopostInnovationDay / afternoon session After discovering some of the innovative solutions currently being implemented at Geopost, such as ProGlove’s hands-free scanner at DPD Switzerland and OttonomyIO’s autonomous locker robot under trial at DPD UK, our guests returned for an afternoon of thought leadership on innovation. The second fireside chat featured Plug and Play Tech Center's Zoë Chrysostom and Lacoste’s Alexandre Girault who together discussed the central role of innovation in marketing. Alexander explained how all employees at Lacoste, from top management to staff, were onboarded and trained in GenAI, particularly in marketing. He shared how this technology has helped streamline and automate processes such as text translation and localisation as well as colour changes in photos. Alexandre emphasised a key to success: “Don’t work in silos; onboard as many people as possible.” For the final panel, Plug and Play Tech Center’s Yoobin Jung led a discussion with Prolong’s Tanguy Frécon and Hardloop’s Julien JEREMIE on making circular models seamless and profitable. Tanguy shared how Prolong created an after-sales shoe repair platform for their shoe fashion client, highlighting the sustainability aspects and potential for acquiring key product life data while attracting new customers. Julien underscored the importance of simplifying the return process for used goods, noting that only 25% of customers who returned products requested a refund; most preferred to have the money donated to charity. To wrap up Innovation Day, Geopost’s Director of Innovation & Chief Data Officer Sébastien Lacombe synthesised three key takeaways: - AI is a powerful game-changer that businesses need to prioritise. - Brands must engage with customers on social media, where much of today's e-commerce is growing. - Circularity is no longer an optional consideration but a necessary business model that requires both technology and human skills. Ultimately, our first Innovation Day underscored the value of collaboration among diverse perspectives in tackling significant challenges. #Innovation #Technology #Entrepreneurship

Agent Day 2024 Two weeks ago, we brought together 17 Customer Service Agents from 16 Business Units across Europe for our annual Customer Service event, the Agent Day. The objective was to strengthen this community ahead of the challenging Peak Season. This event provided our agents with updates on group projects, an opportunity to discuss daily challenges face-to-face, share feedback on essential tools and processes, and, more importantly, to build connections. We covered key topics, including sustainability with Caryn-Ann Allen, sales with Martial Habéchian, CS2024, the case tracking and management project led by Alban PERREAU, and MyDPDinternal with Hasna EL MOUNTASSIR and Raymond Trusgnich. Despite our diverse languages, cultures, and work styles, we are united by a shared mission: to ensure our clients’ satisfaction. For this, our Customer Service employees must feel valued, engaged and appreciated, reflecting our "symmetry of care" philosophy. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of this event, with special recognition to our Customer Service Project Manager Florence Hanna, and the whole customer support central team for their ongoing support. #customerservice #customersupport
