Last week, thanks to your support, GIPL team members, alongside the Georgia Sierra Club, had the privilege of meeting with the Office of U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff in Washington, D.C. In a small forum, we thanked him for all his work on #ClimateAction and protecting the #Okefenokee Swamp. We also discussed the importance of continuing to expand clean energy in Georgia and addressing energy burden relief for vulnerable communities. We're grateful for his continued leadership and commitment to a sustainable, equitable future for Sacred Earth. #FaithInAction #CleanEnergy #Conservation #Georgia

Next week is #WhaleWeek! 🐋 Join us and our partners for a special, FREE screening of “Saving the Right Whale” on Wednesday, Dec. 11 from 6-8 p.m. at UNITY OF SAVANNAH. The film highlights the challenges and successes in protecting one of the ocean’s most endangered species, the North Atlantic Right Whale. It’s a perfect opportunity to gather with friends and family to learn about conservation and how we can all play a part in safeguarding these magnificent creatures.
