Georgia Trade School graduates build iconic projects from Navy Destroyers and Coast Guard Ships to NFL and Major League baseball stadiums including Mercedes Benz and SunTrust Park. Students from fourteen states travel to our North Atlanta facility to change their lives and help rebuild America. Barely old enough to drive with life changing skills
This is Brodie. He is 17 years old, and still currently attending high school, but because of a program his school offers, he and one of his classmates are able to attend our welding program in the afternoons. They are both on track to be finished with our program before they finish high school. More evidence that we need skilled trades programs in our schools.

Our senior welding instructor, Elaine Waters is retiring this month after 37 years teaching in the North Georgia market. A GTS original, Elaine has made a huge impact on thousands of welders across the country. For her immense contributions to the industry, she was named National teacher of the Year by Practical Welding Today in 2016. Congratulations on an incredible career and a well deserved retirement.
