We are honored to have many veterans working at Gerdau, and we appreciate everything you have done for this country and the world. Today we announce our financial results for the 3rd quarter of 2024.   We advanced in our strategy of improving competitiveness by optimizing our assets in Brazil, while recording an evolution in demand for steel in the Brazilian market in the period. This improvement in the market, however, did not result in greater volumes due to the scenario of excessive entry of long and flat steel into the country.   We remain focused on generating value for our customers and stakeholders through a complete portfolio of innovative steel products, solutions and services and the company’s commitment to building an even more sustainable future.   #ShapeTheFuture #GerdauResults

Last week, participants in our Helda Gerdau program attended a business operations learning week in Tampa, Florida. They received training in finance, strategy and risk management among other topics. Last week, Gerdau participated in an event celebrating the commercial operation of the Orion Solar Belt projects. With a combined energy capacity of approximately 900 MWdc, these are expected to be the first utility-scale solar projects to qualify for the Inflation Reduction Act's domestic content bonus. We were proud to supply the structural steel from our Midlothian and Cartersville mills. Our extensive network of scrap metal recycling yards ensures our mills are constantly supplied, which is critical given our mills use 96% recycled materials to create new steel that goes into the buildings, roads, and products all around you. Each year, we process more than 3.8 million tons in North America.
