We love when our #Apprentices and #Alumni get highlighted and recognized for their hard work by our employers - keep them coming :) Mike was part of our first Mechatronics Technician Cohort and joined right after graduating from Western Area CTC. He was a stellar apprentice from day one and beyond the program. He is an example of hard work and dedication and how far this can bring you in a program like ours. We're very proud of his accomplishments and can't wait to see what's still in store for our alumni at Hennecke Inc. #Apprenticeships #GermanstyleApprenticeships #Training #Careerpath #gaccpit
At Hennecke, we take pride in recognizing and fostering exceptional talent, and Michael Szewczyk exemplifies what can be achieved through passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to growth. Michael’s inspiring journey with Hennecke began in 2017 when he joined us as an apprentice through Western Area Career and Technology Center. Demonstrating maturity and focus beyond his years, Michael embraced the opportunity to learn and grow within our company. Through a prestigious co-op program facilitated by the German American Chamber of Commerce, he earned his journeyman certification, laying a strong foundation in advanced manufacturing techniques and practices. After graduating high school, Michael officially joined Hennecke as a Mechanical Assembly and Installation Technician in June 2018. From day one, his drive and talent stood out. By 2019, his eagerness to broaden his skillset led him to transition into the role of Electrical Assembly and Installation Technician, showcasing his ability to adapt and excel in new challenges. Michael’s hunger for knowledge didn’t stop there. While working full-time, he pursued higher education at the Community College of Allegheny County, earning an Associate’s degree in Mechatronics. This accomplishment highlighted his dedication to aligning academic knowledge with hands-on expertise, a combination that continues to make him a vital asset to our team. In 2023, Michael’s career reached new heights when he was promoted to Service and Process Technician, a role that has taken him to various corners of the globe. Whether it’s mechanical or electrical assembly, installations, start-ups, commissioning, or servicing Hennecke equipment, Michael has proven to be a true multi-talented professional. His versatility and problem-solving skills have earned him a stellar reputation among colleagues and customers alike. In addition to excelling in the field, Michael has become an integral part of our R&D lab projects, contributing innovative ideas and solutions. He is currently delving into PLC programming and automation, reinforcing his commitment to staying at the forefront of technology. Michael’s career journey at Hennecke is a testament to the value of continuous learning and innovation. From apprentice to globe-trotting technician, his story reflects not only his own determination but also the opportunities that exist for those willing to grow and innovate. We are incredibly proud to have Michael as part of the Hennecke family and look forward to seeing how he continues to elevate our team and inspire those around him. Thank you, Michael, for your exceptional contributions, relentless dedication, and for setting a standard of excellence! #EmployeeSpotlight #HenneckeTeam #InnovationInAction #Mechatronics #GrowthAndExcellence #360Service
