Nothing makes us happier than satisfied customers! We're proud to support electricians with smarter, faster installations, such as LaMorte Electric Heating and Cooling. 💡⚡ Thanks Brian LaMorte for the positive review #evcharging #loadmanagement #EMS
I'm so excited to install my first Stepwise EV EMS controller! I just unboxed my first one today, and the quality is outstanding. I have a client who has a 100 amp service and wants an ev charger, because this unit is adjustable, I can install it now without overloading his panel, and when his service is upgraded I can adjust it to 200 amps, so it won't overload after he adds heat pumps and other electric appliances. The installation will be easy, and there is plenty of room inside the box. The cover does not hinge and risk pinching anything. This device will make it so most of my customers do not need a service upgrade, which costs about quadruple, and takes a lot of planning. We can add this to any panel and it will not add any load that was not there, because it will automatically turn off the EV charger if the panel goes over 80% capacity. This directly relates to the premise of my book I'm authoring. Devices like this are the cure to the biggest problem we face in electrifying everything. Load management will be key to conscious and community minded expansion, while ALSO saving yourself money. It so rare that something is a win win like this! Ill post install pics and describe my thoughts about it as soon as I get a chance to put this in. I have a tesla Plaid owner who will be really happy about this 😀 because I can schedule him immediately with out waiting for the utility company, who is notorious for being slow here in Ithaca. Load Management is the key to affordable energy and a stable grid. Stepwise is pioneering the way that we bring this technology to the mass market. Read more about why this is important. 💡 What is load management? "Think of it like a highway system: major power lines act as highways, and smaller lines as roads to homes. Instead of building roads to handle peak traffic at all times, load management optimizes electricity flow, widening roads where needed and closing off unused ones, making the grid more dynamic and efficient."
🔌 The Future of Residential Energy: Why Load Management Matters As U.S. households switch to electric appliances, electricity demand is set to rise. Wisconsin (https://lnkd.in/gR9UwAmR) recently became the first state to offer home energy rebates through the Inflation Reduction Act, highlighting the urgent need for smarter energy infrastructure. I am writing a 3 part series to explore the importance of residential load management—key to balancing energy demand and avoiding costly upgrades. Let me know what you think about it!🌱⚡ #LoadManagement #EnergyEfficiency #Sustainability #electrification #ElectricGrid #Sustainability #EVTap #Stepwise
