Born in New York City, October 11th, 1884, Eleanor Roosevelt was considered a born leader by her school Headmistress. She was an active member of his cabinet, when her husband Franklin Delano Roosevelt won the Presidency. During WWII she tended to the President, suffering the effects of polio, while she served as Assistant Director of Civilian Defense and took time to visit the troops in the South Pacific to comfort and strengthen their resolve. Eleanor Roosevelt was an Inspired Human. You can become an inspired human with our Higher Ground Leadership program, exploring the fundamentals of leadership and examining the challenges of the art of leadership.
