We're excited to share that Phase 1 of the Blueprint Schools Program was honored with a National Award of Merit for Educational Facilities by the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA). Each year, DBIA recognizes projects that illustrate the critical role design-build played in shaping the success of the project. Delivered via a 30-year, first-of-its-kind innovative public-private partnership model, the team leveraged design-build best practices to deliver six schools for Prince George's County Public Schools. The project team achieved economies of scale by developing three prototype school designs with common elements and an eye towards minimized maintenance and lifecycle interventions. Our New York affordable housing team recently hosted an engaging Senior Resident Breakfast Presentation, reinforcing our commitment to the Manhattanville campus renovation project in West Harlem, NY. During the meeting, we discussed key topics such as hazard abatement preparedness, temporary move planning, the start of lease signing, an overview of the PACT program, and the transition to Section 8. The PACT program transitions developments from traditional public housing assistance to the more stable, federally funded Project-Based Section 8 program — unlocking funding for designated PACT partners to complete comprehensive repairs.
