After hosting Bay Area Girl Geek Dinners for 10 years, we have rebranded as Girl Geek X -- our programs include events (with 250+ dinners hosted at 150+ companies since 2008) and serve a dynamic community of 40,000+ women in tech in the greater SF Bay Area! Women share thought leadership in STEM expertise, as well as career advice in the fast-paced tech industry. The retention and recruitment of mid-level / senior women in tech is a critical lever for increasing the ratio of female CEOs, executives, engineers and entrepreneurs. Natasha Harpalani (Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Technical Product Manager) shared her framework for knowing when to cut scope on a project.
