We had a fabulous experience at TechCrunch Disrupt 2024 in San Francisco earlier this week! Our Co-founder and CEO Jose Ernesto Suarez attended this flagship startup event that has truly become a go-to spot for creativity, innovation, and collaboration among early-stage companies and enterprises worldwide. Imagine 10,000+ startup enthusiasts, investors, and tech innovators brought together in one venue, eager to share their solutions with each other. Primarily, Jose was busy connecting with the TechCrunch Disrupt community, diving into all things cloud – from budgeting and spend optimization, all the way to implementing FinOps best practices. The main focus was to help enterprises save on cloud costs and unlock new opportunities for infrastructure innovation. Thanks to everyone for the insightful conversations at the event – we are looking forward to exploring the collaboration opportunities with you! #TechCrunchDisrupt #CloudTech #FinOps #SanFrancisco

Is Glassity bold enough? 🤔 Our last week was dedicated to Latitude59 and its satellite events. It’s the flagship startup and tech conference of the Nordics in Estonia - the world’s first digital society. For over a decade, the conference has been a catalyst for tech-savvy founders connecting them with investors and bringing immense innovation insights along with a knowledge-sharing culture. Why does it matter? It's a place where problem-solving ideas and technological innovations with the potential to reshape the world can be validated and accelerated. Glassity has followed this path in the past shaping the idea that now creates time and money-saving value for enterprises by bringing cloud cost efficiency and thereby freeing resources for reinvestment into their businesses. It wouldn’t be possible without a dash of boldness. So what does being bold mean for Glassity? Here are some thoughts from our team members: “For me, being bold means fearlessly embracing the unknown and pushing boundaries. It involves leading with conviction, taking risks, and striving for excellence. Living by being comfortable being uncomfortable, I view every challenge as an opportunity for growth.” “For me, being bold means having the courage to speak up and share ideas, no matter how unconventional or impractical they may seem. It also involves being flexible—adapting your behaviour or development to meet the needs of your audience and targets rather than retreating into a “shell.” Additionally, it means being honest with yourself and being bold enough to accept the truth.” “Being bold for me means to be fearless, to turn off the "what if" and hesitation inside of me, and turning on the confidence and positivity. Also, being open-minded” “Be bold to me is “poking the white polar bear then trying not to be killed by it (...) then finding a new polar bear and repeat.” In a business context, it's going after the biggest goals and keep putting out fires (endlessly)” “It’s being smart and thinking outside the box. Embracing the challenges and making them work for you. It's going 'all in' while remaining driven by measurable results and being responsible”. What does being bold mean to you? Share your thoughts on how you view and define boldness based on your experience and perception. 💬

While our AWS cloud optimization feature continues to autopilot our customers' cost savings, our development team is busy in the lab working on core features for the Cloud Governance platform 🤩 At the BuildGPT event organized by Icebreaker.vc, our AI-Engineer demonstrated a new approach to managing cloud infrastructure that considers both human and technical components, leveraging enterprise knowledge and automated resource orchestration. Inspired by RAG systems, our tool, which we internally refer to as augmented cloud governance (ACG), aims to integrate automation algorithms with enterprise knowledge. This tool is capable of automatically manage, anticipate and report on AWS environments ☁ What value does this bring? In simple terms, the cloud can be complex and challenging in daily operations. We aim to provide a better way to navigate and influence company's cloud by simplifying collaboration between tech and non-tech users.
The BuildGPT roadshow arrived at its final destination on Wednesday- Tallinn! 🇪🇪 Thank you to all the 55 builders and generative AI enthusiasts for joining us and offering an interesting glimpse into projects and startups being built in the sphere. From creating a bot that analyses complex reports and translates them into understandable language, making an app to effectively edit podcasts, to building an application that helps people study and date in a new way! 🤖 Kudos to our presenters: Eva Lond from Pipedrive, Felipe Meneses from Glassity, Krister Viirsaar, Krzysztof Klimkiewicz Rossi, Mikhail Dunaev from Prfct.ee, Stefan Djokovic from flashka.ai, and Andreas Toth. 📸 Photos by Helen Killandi.
