Many professional service providers realized the need for GRIIT as they tried expanding globally, such as breaking into the US market. 📈 Our founder, Sarita Jackson, PhD, CGBP, has also successfully worked with services-based companies and helped them to boost their revenue in new markets (e.g., the Asian region) by 2024. More importantly, the increase in revenue allowed these same companies to continue to enhance and provide much needed services in other parts of the world. We continue to fill in this gap for service providers (e.g., real estate, law, finance, digital marketing, education, architecture) with the knowledge AND tools to help them to implement a solid export plan at https://lnkd.in/gKQjgCCX. We do so at a rate and format that is accessible to businesses of ALL sizes. 📚Not ready for the course or 1:1 advising? Do not worry. The power of international trade isn't just in the numbers - it's in watching businesses transform their global reach and women entrepreneurs claim their space in the international marketplace. The year 2024 reinforced what we've long known: when businesses have access to the right resources and guidance, global expansion becomes not just possible, but profitable. Studies show that firms that export earn more, employ more people, and demonstrate higher productivity than those who don't. Three insights that resonated most with our community: "The only way to reduce the trade deficit is for businesses to tap into the resources that would help them to export successfully." My speaking on NPR's Marketplace about international trade's role in economic growth https://lnkd.in/gCZw38D8 "Studies have found that women-owned firms that export not only earn more, but also employ more people and are, on average, more productive than women-owned firms that do not." Building bridges between women entrepreneurs and global opportunities https://lnkd.in/g6hUvD28 "Last Tuesday's globinar was highly engaging, proved valuable to the participants, and received an overwhelming positive response during and afterward. To my service providers interested in expanding globally, here is the information that you have been looking for... " Webinar on Exporting a Service English: https://lnkd.in/ghDRS4z9 Spanish: https://lnkd.in/gMgSWDjf Key milestones in expanding trade access: • Designed practical course that yields results specifically for professional service providers (finance, architect, digital marketing, law, consulting, education) - https://lnkd.in/ebE8Ttak • Appointed as mentor for Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT) • Elected Secretary of Women in International Trade Orange County Looking ahead: As we enter 2025, our focus remains on expanding access to global markets through practical education and strategic guidance - especially for women entrepreneurs and service-based businesses ready to scale internationally. To my global trade network, business clients, and each mentee taking those first bold steps into global markets - thank you for proving that with the right guidance and determination, expanding globally opens up many opportunities for business growth and cross-border collaboration. #globaltrade #export #griit 2024 LinkedIn Rewind! Helping companies grow through export sales of goods and services. Bilingual Global Trade Advisor, Strategist, Author, TEDx Speaker, International Public Speaker
I had the pleasure of speaking on the role of international trade in the US economy among other professors and economists on National Public Radio's (NPR) Marketplace - https://lnkd.in/g2Pia69V. The only way to reduce the trade deficit is for businesses to tap into the resources that would help them to export successfully. Exporting, in turn, grows their businesses, which also helps the US economy to grow while reducing our trade deficit. Unfortunately, many companies focus solely domestic market while missing out on the opportunities to scale globally. My team and I at the Global Research Institute of International Trade are ready to assist in reducing the risks so that companies can grow globally. Looking for an expert on global trade for your next event, send a DM or reach me at (310) 912-7950. #NPR #Marketplace #radiointerview #globaltrade #griit

To trade under the #AfCFTA, African businesses must first understand the AfCFTA Agreement. To help #SmallBusiness reap the benefits of the single African market, ITC and the AfCFTA Secretariat have collaborated on a glossary to explain legal, commercial, and customs terms. 🔗 http://bit.ly/3SpzKR9

We enjoy continuing our work leading training sessions on exports designed for manufacturing firms. However, as service exporters ourselves, it is usually the service providers who attend these trainings and workshops with questions about pricing and strategy. Unfortunately, service providers remain overlooked when developing programs, training, and resources pertaining to exporting to the global market. Nevertheless, our first-hand experience equips us to provide substantive answers and practical tips for these service providers. GRIIT is here to support this growing community of service-based exporters. If you’re a professional service provider, start with practical steps to exporting and discover how to secure funding with our well-received book, International Trade in Services: Effective Practice and Policy. Earlier this year, someone asked me about China's involvement in Latin America. I shared with that person that China has been playing a pivotal political and economic roles throughout the Latin American and African regions for the last two decades. As today's Wall Street Journal article points out, the dollar value of Chinese projects throughout Latin America is reaching that of Africa. At the same time, some of the same challenges that have surfaced throughout Africa are highlighted in this piece with regard to Latin American countries. I look forward to additional insight during my upcoming trip to a key port city in Mexico. As GRIIT engages in discussions with other global entrepreneurs and business executives, we continue to highlight the many opportunities and implement practical solutions to strengthen the ties between US companies and those throughout both important regions. Our results are built off of our intentional and focused strategies. https://lnkd.in/gSrrxNF3 #griit #LatinAmerica #China #APEC #G20 #Mexico
