Wondering how the year went for us? Well for starters, we were introduced to you all this year and that's huge. We have successfully launched two communities of practice in Malawi and Tanzania. We had a webinar where we went through the rudiments of launching communities of practice as a new telehealth community of practice launched in Malawi. We were also present at the #GDHF held in Nairobi this December where we had a booth and got to introduce GTCoP to attendees. A good year was had truly for a first year and we are optimistic that 2025 will even be better. The #GTCoP train is moving and we have made another stop in Tanzania! With our aim to build multiple telehealth communities in Africa, we have moved from Malawi where we established our first in-country community of practice to Tanzania where we are replicating that as shown in the photos below with Harriet Blest , our senior manager introducing the participants to scheduled activities. In addition, this session will include the mapping of the telehealth companies which will be updated in the digital health atlas. #LatePost Yesterday was Universal Health Coverage Day and it is only right that we jumped on the advocacy train. This year, the theme is “Health: It is on the government”, which calls for governments to do more in making healthcare accessible to everyone regardless of their station, class and location.
