We talk a lot about "learning outcomes" and "creating global citizens," and we do have good data. But nothing beats hearing from former students! We chatted with Global Scholars alumni Aina and Joa in Barcelona last month, a few years after they participated in Global Scholars #virtualexchange. We think that early exposure to #globalcompetence education helped them become the global citizens we see today! 🤩

Our Codebook for Global Student Learning Outcomes is now available in Catalan, Kazakh, Russian, and Spanish! – video guides, too, to help even more teachers boost, measure, and nurture specific elements of global competency. https://lnkd.in/eMswXYg4

We are in Catalonia this week to launch a new Inspector Teacher Training initiative as part of our longstanding partnership with Generalitat de Catalunya, Department of Education and Vocational Training. We will be training inspectors, school leaders, and teachers to use the Codebook for Global Student Learning Outcomes as they integrate citizenship and global competency across K-12 curricula. Our thanks to the Catalan Department of Education, Esther Niubó, and Montserrat Montagut Montagut for this meaningful collaboration that will benefit more educators and students in Catalonia. 🌍 Collaborating to enhance the capacity of inspectors to ensure teacher effectiveness in teaching and measuring global competency. 🌍 Offering Global Cities workshops to all K-12 teachers in Catalonia interested in globalizing their curricula. 🌍Continuing to connect Catalan students with peers around the world through our Global Scholars virtual exchange program.
