Three financial aid checks went out today to people living with advanced brain tumors. They will use their funds to pay off medical debt, pay the rent, and purchase life-saving medications. Nearly all of our applicants cannot work or have reduced their income due to treatment, disability, or recovery from surgery. Cost of care is a major concern for brain cancer (and all cancer) patients. According to the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, 73% Of cancer patients and survivors surveyed are concerned about their ability to pay current or future costs of their cancer care. Treatment and care are expensive. We can help! Applications are still open for people with an advanced brain tumor.
